Dear all,

It’s been a tough start on the field to the season but at least Shriram has his first win as full-time captain, as does James Bentley as stand-in! There are six ECS group games still left with entry to the knockout rounds still up for grabs. 

Recent results (all T10 matches)
January 27th: Friendly matches

1. BICC 119/3, Badalona 123/2 (7.3 overs). Badalona won by 8 wickets.
2. Badalona 145/6, BICC 90/3. Badalona won by 55 runs.

January 29th: ECS

1. Pakicare 117/5, BICC 86/7. Pakicare won by 31 runs.
2. Pakicare 150/7, BICC 83/8. Pakicare won by 67 runs.

January 31st: ECS

1. BICC 147/4, Magic 148/3 (9.4). Magic won by 7 wickets.
2. BICC 140/10 (10), Magic 134/4. BICC won by 6 runs.

February 3rd: ECS

1. BICC 119/4, Sohal Hospitalet 109/6. BICC won by 10 runs. 
2. Sohal Hospitalet 132/9, BICC 111/6. Sohal won by 21 runs. 

February 6th: ECS

1. Catalunya Jaguars 153/2, BICC 100/4. Jaguars won by 53 runs.
2. BICC 116/3, Jaguars 119/2 (6.5). Jaguars won by 8 wickets.

February 8th: ECS

1. Catalunya Dragons 186/8, BICC 113/5. Dragons won by 73 runs.
2. BICC 115/9, Dragons 116/2 (7.1). Dragons won by 8 wickets.

February 10th: ECS

1. Catalunya Red 118/8, BICC 111/5. Catalunya Red won by 7 runs.
2. BICC 103/9, Catalunya Red 109/2 (5.4). Catalunya Red won by 8 wickets.

Upcoming fixtures
13th February, 10am & 12pm. ECS vs Royal Barcelona
15th February, 2pm & 4pm. ECS vs Pak Barcelona
20th February, 10am & 12pm. ECS vs Men in Blue.
2nd & 3rd March. Tour games vs Granada CC. 
Other fixtures in March still tbc. 

Net sessions will continue every Wednesday from 6-7:30pm and on Saturday from 10am-12pm in Montjuïc (except for when it clashes with a game). Please continue to confirm attendance via the poll on the WhatsApp group, as sessions may be cancelled due to lack of attendance. Sessions may also be cancelled due to bad weather or reasons beyond our control, so check the WhatsApp group beforehand. There will not be nets on Saturday, 17th February due to the international matches at the ground.

29th January - 24th February: ECS
17-18th February: Spain vs Czechia in two ECI series (men’s and women’s)
2nd-3rd March: Tour to Granada. Organisation has begun on a separate WhatsApp group
Friday, 26th April: Touring team visit. T20 match starting at 2pm TBC. 
2nd-3rd November: Tour to Menorca
18th November - 6th December: end of year ECS (dates still provisional)

2024 Membership
Membership for 2024 is still open. Fill in this form and send your fee to Nathan Blyth (club treasurer), IBAN ES3415632626393260204684. 

Kit
A further order for playing kit has recently been sent and it should arrive this week. Please let Shriram or Vishesh know when you are attending so they can bring your items. They will only be handed out if paid for! 
If anyone else wants to order it, register your interest by filling out this form and the order will go in as and when there is sufficient demand.
